The Rolling Barrage’ Online Auction has been very successful over the past 4 years in raising funds to support Mental Health and Wellness programs for the Veteran and First Responder Communities across Canada. Without your participation in such activities as The Rolling Barrage, purchasing merchandise, our Online Auction or Donating directly; the programs we help support would not exist.

An excellent example of your efforts would be Military Minds Inc. being able to contribute directly to Can Praxis.

Can Praxis EAL is a Canadian registered charity, and they provide mental health recovery programs for Canadian Veterans and First Responders (serving and retired) living with an Operational Stress Injury (OSI), such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

They incorporate equine therapy into their programs because horses understand us and can teach us about ourselves. Horses are experts at reading body language and pick up on all the non-verbal cues we bring to an interaction.

Founded in 2013 by a Canadian Military Veteran and a Trauma-focused clinician, Can Praxis is the leading Equine-Assisted Therapy provider for the Veteran and First Responder communities.

The Rolling Barrage Online Auction has items like this awesome Harley Davidson leather Jacket in size 3XL. Donated by Yorkton SK, Harley Davidson. Valued at $657.00; it’s current bidding price is still well below market value.

Also available for bidding is a wonderful art piece. This beautiful art piece was created and donated by artist Damian Robertson

The story behind this piece is there were 1,500 Canadian bikers in World War II. This Biker riding a 1942 Harley Davidson has a flat tire due to being shot out and is fixing it on the fly.

Oils on canvas, measures 32“ x 20“.

Damian Robertson was with 1 RCR (Royal Canadian Regiment) for 4 1/2 years. “I love my service. And I’ve been a tattoo artist for 15 years now. I work at Honour Bound tattoos in Calgary. And do very large scale tattoo work. I love the help that Military Minds has given me so this is a way of giving back.”

The above are only two of over 20 unique items up for bidding on The Rolling Barrage Online Auction for 2020. Be sure to keep an eye on both the time and your bids.
